This is our 35th year escorting Rockford area folks to Ravinia Festival Park in Highland Park, Illinois. Ravinia is the summer home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Concerts are performed in an outdoor Pavilion (a theatre with a roof, but no walls) or enjoy music from the lawn (where picnics are famous). We arrive 2 hours prior to the concert, so you can eat at one of the elegant outdoor restaurants, picnic on the lawn, or pick up deli-dinners.
